Finnish Floorball Federation had their General assembly on Saturday, electing a new board for the next three-year term. Risto Kauppinen will continue as chairman of the board that got four new members.
Risto Kauppinen had a worthy opponent in SaiPa Lappeenranta chairman Ding Ma as Kauppinen was elected to continue by votes 94-88.
As members of the board were elected Ms. Kaarina Vuori (from Espoo, new), Mr. Mikko Kohonen (Jyväskylä), Mr. Timo Lyytinen (Kuopio), Ms. Arja Kilpeläinen (Espoo), Mr. Juuso Laamanen (Tampere), Mr. Harri Karjala (Seinäjoki, new), Mr. Janne Heikkinen (Oulu, new) and Mr. Olli Lähdesmäki (Helsinki, new).

Other decisions of the general assembly were the nominations of Council and Appellate committees, approving the federation’s updated Strategy for 2026 and certain updates of constitution as well as the approving of budget of EUR 12.8 million and plan of action for 2021.
